to Begin The best way to begin using Gamma GenCat is to install and run the program. All the buttons and labels have pop-up hints that give context sensitive help about what information is required, but you can always refer to this help text or our web site for more information. To begin, we have provided a few demo catalogs that you can look at, play with and explore to your heart's content. If you do make changes to them, be sure to save them under a different name so the originals are not lost. These catalogs will give you a good idea of how to set up all your general store information and what you need to do to add items and categories for your products. Once you have seen how the demo catalogs work, you can begin creating your own catalog. If you need to, you can always revisit the demos to see how they are set up. You can also save multiple copies of your catalog under different names if you want. Just remember to save your work! |
